Dr. JABARU Saheed Olalekan was born into the Loolo family, Molete II, Iwo, in Osun State about four decades ago. He had his elementary education at D. C. School, Olori, Iwo; Secondary education at United Methodist High School, Iwo, while tertiary educations were held at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin and University of Ilorin for his National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree, Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degrees, all in Statistics. He was the overall best Statistics student in ND, HND, PGD and B.Sc. programmes.

Dr. JABARU Saheed Olalekan also possesses a good number of national and international publications to his credit. He is a fellow of recognized statistical bodies, which are Professional Statisticians Society of Nigeria (PSSN) and Nigerian Statistical Association (NSA). He has also received a good number of merit awards both locally and nationally.

He is a lover of peace and people irrespective of gender, religion or race. He is happily married with lovely children.

Beyond academia, he actively contributes to community development through leadership roles in educational and local organizations.
